The volume entitled Cyprus and the Aegean in the Early Iron Age. The Legacy of Nicolas Coldstream for which professor Maria Iacovou served as scientific editor, presents the proceedings of the Archaeology Workshop organized by the Archaeological Research Unit of the University of Cyprus in December 2010 in memory of professor Nicolas Coldstream (1927-2008). Long before the foundation of the University of Cyprus and the Archaeological Research Unit, Nicolas Coldstream was the only professor at a university in Europe, specifically the University of London, to have introduced regular undergraduate and graduate seminars on the archaeology of Cyprus. Participating in the workshop were exclusively Greek archaeologists from Greece and Cyprus who had been his students or students of his students. In particular, the book features presentations by: Despina Peilidou, Nota Kourou, Alexandros Mazarakis-Ainian, Antonia Livieratou, Yiorgos Papasavvas, Antonis Kotsonas, Yiorgos Vouroyannis, Maria Iacovou, Vasiliki Kassianidou, Anna Satraki, Yorgos Papantoniou, Anna Georgiadou, Vicky Vlachou and Manolis Mikrakis.
